3 more days til sweet home alabama!

Christmas is almost here! Michael is home and done with interviews so its nice to have him back home again! His last 2 were Jacksonville and Tufts in Boston. He loved Jacksonville's weather, but who wouldn't when it was 10 degrees in Boston?? We were supposed to go skating at Fenway Park today with my work, but the snow cancelled that one. And today was our Sunday School Christmas Pageant and snow cancelled that as well so Michael and I have had a lazy snowy Sunday. The snow is STILL falling, but its so nice and warm to just lie on our couch and watch it fall. We are going to our friends house for our annual Christmas dinner tonight, and the past 2 years it has always snowed on this day so I guess its tradition....although I hope the snow stops soon! Michaels brother Andrew comes tomorrow, so we are really excited about having him for a few days, then its back to Alabama for the holidays! We are heading to Alabama, then New Orleans, then Tennessee, then back to Alabama.....so excited about seeing family and friends! Michael and I did Christmas this morning, so I've attached some pictures of that and snow. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Almost time for the holidays!

It's definitely starting to feel like Christmas up here, at least weather wise! It's officially winter, and it is COLD! I love snow, but ice/snow/slush is not fun at all. Hopefully we'll get some more pretty snow and I can post some pictures. Michael arrived safe and sound from his interview trail, but he's back at it again. He is in DC for Georgetown, then heading to Tulane then South Alabama. I know he will love the southern weather over Boston weather! There are just 2 more in December after this trip, then that is it for December. He is really enjoying himself and I love to hear his thoughts on each program. The more interviews he goes on, the more he can compare and decide what he does and does not like. We'll keep ya'll posted and stay warm wherever you are!

Let the interviews begin.....

What a great start to a great week! Monday night, the Saints beat the Patriots and it was amazing! My friend Erin and I watched it at a Boston bar with our Reggie Bush jerseys, and had a great night! Hopefully, the Saints will go all the way! I will admit that the Patriots fans were not bad at all, and most of them liked the Saints (obviously not that night), and said they would root for the Saints if they go all the way and the Pats don't...so that was nice!

Michael left on Wednesday to head to some interviews, but I've had some wonderful girl time with my great friends up here. Girls nights are just so fun! Michael's interviews consisted of Pittsburgh, Emory, and he is heading to Hopkins to wrap up the interview week. It's still early on in the process, but he has been pleased with all the places he's interviewed thus far. I started my Christmas shopping today, but still have a long way to go. I posted some pictures of our decorations and tree...I just love Christmas! We are supposed to get a couple of inches of snow tonight, but you just never know what "a couple" actually means to Boston people. I'm a bit nervous! Michael and I teach 1st grade Sunday School, and we are practicing for the Christmas pageant, so class should be entertaining tomorrow! Hope everyone had a great weekend...and just for today...go Gators!
